Benefits of Membership


Invitations to meetings (held at the Sandbanks Community Church or in the winter months via ZOHO).

Invitations to Presentations by keynote Speakers on a variety of topics such as adapting to climate change, nature-based solutions for shoreline erosion, accessing resources, protecting natural habitats, Invasive Species management programmes, a healthy septic system, and much more.

WLCA Newsletter

Opportunities to join in advocating for the environment, and nature-based climate solutions.

Membership Fees are the only reliable source of income for the WLCA, and pays for recurring costs such as insurance, venue rentals and membership with Ontario Nature’s Nature Network.
The WLCA also supports a few organizations through donations. 
The WLCA welcomes Youth to participate in the WLCA Youth Engagement Programme, such as the West Lake Water Rangers or volunteer on a WLCA project or at an event. 
Youth up to and including the age of 18 years are exempt from paying Membership Dues.

Annual Membership Fees:

  • Single: $20.00  
  • Family (2 or more people in one household), and Agriculture: $25.00 
  • Business: $35 
  • Youth (18yrs and under) : Free
  • Indigenous Membership (single/family) : $10.00 
  • Supporting (Non-Voting): $15

The Membership ‘Year’ is from January 1st to December 31st. 

Annual Fees can be paid by cash or cheque (payable to West Lake Community Association), or by e-transfer to westlakeca.pec@gmail.com



If mailing a cheque, please send to:  West Lake Community Association c/o 1370 County Rd. 12, RR1, Picton, ON K0K 2T0, or drop it off with your membership form in the WLCA Communication Box inside the Tambo.  There are blank membership forms (and comment cards) beside the box. The box is checked by a Board member once a week.
