Come join your West Lake neighbours for a couple of hours,  sharing great conversation and some yummy home baking at the West Lake COMMUNITY  SOCIALS.  This casual ’drop-in’ style get together is held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the last Saturday of every month from October to May.   We will have a couple of Guest Speakers give Talks at the Socials over the Winter months.

See you there!

WLCA YOUTH ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME

Beginning on the last weekend of the month (June - Nov), three enthusiastic West Lake Youth who are participating in our West Lake  ’WATER RANGERS’ project,  will be doing water testing out on West Lake in designated locations.  The data they collect will help to create a new West Lake and Wetland database.  Additional data will be collected from projects that the WLCA is also partnering on with a number of other nature-based organizations to help protect the health of West Lake and the Wetland, and the natural habitats of Species at Risk and Endangered Species.

Have you seen the two WETLAND AWARENESS SIGNS on County Rd 12 ??  Please be aware of the local wildlife traversing County Rd 12!!
